As a member of the Zimmerman infuZion Internship Program, you will experience advertising in it's full glory! You'll be expected to go above and beyond to meet the Client’s goals. Top executives and experienced professionals are available to lend you their expertise to ensure that you are prepared for success.
Do not be fooled, this program is not for the faint of heart. This 10-week program takes determination, collaboration, and commitment at all levels. The InfuZion experience introduces participants to all facets of the advertising industry, retail, fashion, auto, creative, strategy, media, analytics and more.
Graphic Design Intern Responsibilities:
- Produce excellent designs for clients, both creatively as well as effectively, in multiple media types including, but not limited to, print, digital, outdoor, and collateral.
- Demonstrate knowledge of printing techniques/requirements for developing print-ready mechanical files
- Maintain best practices for file and server management, including the consistent application of naming conventions, file/folder organization, versioning control, job slugs, and more.
- Proficiency with image manipulation, color-correction, scanning, etc.
- Execute work orders using common paste-up techniques, such as using adhesives for mounting presentation materials, and using the Repro Room service for binding and output.
- Seek out new design perspectives and bring ideas and innovation to the agency.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
- Possess a positive attitude when working with colleagues, associates, and clients. Be solutions-oriented, and supportive in finding solutions to unexpected challenges.
Required Skills:
- Currently enrolled in an accredited Bachelor's Degree program in Graphic Design, Art, Advertising, or similar
- Program recommended for upcoming Junior or Seniors (with a December 2025 or May 2026 graduation date)
- Able to commit to Monday-Friday from 9am-6pm for the entire 10 weeks of the program (Tuesday, June 3, 2025 – Friday, August 08, 2025)
- Must be computer literate with proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint and MS Outlook with the ability to learn new computer systems
- Exudes maturity and professionalism in line with that of a full-time associate, and shows dedication and commitment to the program and work performed
