Zimmerman is looking for a Jr. Trader to join our Programmatic Trading team. In this position, you will work closely with our Programmatic Traders to help execute, manage and report on existing and new programmatic campaigns. This position works under general supervision with the manager providing hands-on guidance and leadership. Incumbent makes decisions within scope of current policies/procedures. Work is reviewed by supervisor for soundness of overall accuracy and adequacy. They are responsible for working closely with the team to create, activate and review best in class cross-platform paid social programs. The Paid Social Specialist assists with execution, reporting, ongoing campaign optimization, and defining overall KPI’s and goals per platform.

Responsibilities

  • As assigned, support the development and implementation of national, regional and local Programmatic campaigns, with emphasis on Social platforms and campaigns.
  • Assist in the daily monitoring and optimization of live campaigns to ensure campaign pacing and performance are at or beating client objectives
  • Work with media, social, data and technology partners for digital media planning, insights, troubleshooting and other related media projects
  • Analyze performance data and provide intelligent interpretation and appropriate action plans based on conclusions
  • As directed and overseen by manager, assist in the preparation of recommendations, POVs and select analyses
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of best practices and strategies in the management and trends of Programmatic
  • Ongoing, coordinate with the Planning and Account Service teams addressing but not limited to; Competitive insights, Cross partner insights and performance, Media and Promotional Opportunities, Invoice Approval and Billing.

Requirements

  • 2+ years experience working with social platforms including but not limited to: Google+, LinkedIn, and other current social media platforms. Advanced proficiency with Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and YouTube
  • Experience working with paid social ad-buying platforms, third party ad-servers, and CRM data platforms including but not limited to Double-Click, Double-Verify, Salesforce, BlueKai, and Kenshoo
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing/Advertising/Communications, or closely related field
  • Internship in a full service agency preferred
  • Experience or related intern assignments in retail, hospitality, sales or Interactive advertising is highly desirable
  • Experience with bid management tools are desired: GDN, Adwords, Facebook Power Editor, DBM, Adobe, AOL One, Brightroll, Appnexus or TTD
  • Effective writing skills
  • MS Office: Internet Explorer, Excel, Word and PowerPoint
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment, under tight deadlines
  • Detail-oriented and organized
  • Exhibit enthusiasm, passion, creativity, and commitment
  • In the spirit of social marketing, must be able to work flexible hours including early mornings, nights and weekends
