The Office of Residence Life seeks a highly organized and collaborative professional to provide essential administrative support for departmental operations and residential student programming. This role also manages routine financial processes, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in departmental spending. The ideal candidate is a skilled communicator and problem-solver who thrives in a fast-paced environment and brings strong attention to detail and brings strong attention to detail and adaptability to their work.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide front-line office support by serving as the first point of contact for students, families, and campus partners, ensuring professional communication and high-quality service in person, by phone, and via email.
- Hire, train, and supervise central office student workers, coordinating daily tasks, projects, and ongoing professional development.
- Manage departmental resources and finances, including purchasing in XavierBuy, reconciling RA purchase cards, overseeing supply inventories, and supporting programmatic and event needs.
- Coordinate departmental communications, such as newsletters, social media, and outreach to students, families, and alumni, ensuring timely and accurate information sharing.
- Support departmental operations and policies, including housing processes, opening/closing logistics, billing/fee processing, and collaboration with campus offices and external vendors.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
· Associate’s Degree required
· Bachelor’s degree preferred
· 1-3 years of related experience and/or responsibilities
· Ability to adapt to a changing environment and handle multiple priorities.
· Proficient in Microsoft Office, with aptitude to learn new software and systems.
