The Departments of Criminal Justice and Speech, Language, and Communicative Behavior at Xavier University invites applications for the position of Administrative Assistant II. This is an hourly position working 30 hours per week and requires the role to be available to work on campus full-time.

Primary responsibilities include but not limited to:
- Assisting department chairs and faculty with administrative tasks
- Maintaining faculty files
- Completing FLAC (payment system) workflows for all faculty and adjuncts
- Guiding new faculty and new adjuncts through the hiring procedures
- Maintaining student records
- Coordinating semester course offerings
- Maintaining department budgets
- Supervising student workers
Qualifications:
- High school degree required; Bachelor’s degree preferred
- 3-5 years of experience required
- Excellent communication skills and a strong commitment to working as part of a collaborative team
- Detail-oriented and well-organized
- Ability to work independently on multiple projects across two departments
