The Williams College of Business (WCB) at Xavier University invites applications for two tenure track positions in the Department of Finance at the Assistant or Associate Professor level. Candidates with expertise in all areas of Finance are invited to apply. The positions are scheduled to start in Fall 2025.

The WCB is AACSB accredited. The Department of Finance includes eight tenure-track faculty, one nontenure-track teaching faculty, and is home to the Fifth Third Trading Center.  U.S. News ranked our Undergraduate Finance Program No. 28 and our Online MBA for Finance program No.10 nationally for 2023-2024. 

Candidates for the positions must have earned or be near completion of a Ph.D. in Finance or Financial Economics. Degree must be conferred by August 1, 2025.  A strong commitment to excellence in teaching and research is expected.  The ideal candidate will also possess a passion for service to the academic community. Teaching responsibilities will be both at the undergraduate and graduate levels.  Teaching online MBA courses is also an expectation.

Initial interviews will be conducted at the 2024 Financial Management Association (FMA) Annual Meeting. Materials should be submitted by October 9, 2024 to be considered for interview at the meetings Attendance at the FMA conference is not required to be considered for the position.  Applications will be accepted until the positions are filled.
