Regional Recruitment Director 998272

Xavier University’s Office of Admission invites applications for the role of Regional Recruitment Director. The primary responsibility of this position is to share the value of a Xavier education with prospective students and families.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: 

• Recruit in a large recruiting territory
• Extensive travel
• Build relationships with key high school counselors
• Give presentations and meet with families
• Read and make recommendations on applications for admission
• Timely and detailed follow up with prospective students
• Periodic travel to Cincinnati
• Perform other duties as assigned 

This is a remote position and will primarily oversee territories in and around New York City, New Jersey, and Philadelphia.

Qualifications include: 

• Bachelor’s degree
• At least 5 years of experience working in university admission/enrollment management, sales, customer service, or similar
• Ability to present effectively in front of a variety of audiences
• Outgoing personality
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Valid driver’s license
• Ability to lift and carry 50 pounds
• Willingness to work frequent evenings and weekends.
• Candidates located in and with experience recruiting in the designated geographic markets are preferred.
