Xavier University’s Williams College of Business is seeking applications for the position of Assistant Director of Operations in the Xavier Leadership Center (XLC). The center delivers leadership and executive education programs to companies and organizations. A successful candidate would have exceptional attention to detail, experience in financial analysis, technical and project management skills, along with strong communication and relationship building skills.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

The Assistant Director of XLC Operations manages and supports the execution of Corporate University and private programs including planning, logistics, and details ensuring revenue and profit performance goals are achieved. This position also has financial analysis responsibility for all XLC programs including yearly budget projections, financial performance reporting, and day-to-day financial activities. In addition, this position manages Xavier Leadership Center’s website, registration, CRM, and other technical systems. This position collaborates with the XLC team in implementing strategy for increased growth within the private and open enrollment programs, provides insight into XLC’s portfolio of products and services, and supports marketing initiatives for increased promotion and visibility of XLC.

·        Oversee and manage the logistics in delivering all XLC programs including room reservations, set-up, catering, program materials, and AV needs.

·        Manage XLC budget and financial performance on a monthly and yearly basis.

·        Contribute directly to revenue and profit performance by building relationships with Corporate University participants.

·        Formalize agreements and financial arrangements with qualified faculty and external facilitators in support of program delivery needs.

·        Serve as XLC liaison for external vendors including event registration, digital badging, and other software subscription services.

·        Collaborate across university departments including HR, Procurement, IT, and the Controller and Bursar offices.

JOB REQUIREMENTS: 

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 3-5 years of relevant experience
  • Excellent writing, analytical and project management skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and Excel, with aptitude to learn new software and systems
  • Experience in managing CRM systems
