Xavier University Montessori Lab School is accepting applications for Substitute Teachers.

The substitute teacher works to provide support in 3-6, 6-9, 9-12 and Middle School classrooms.  The substitute teacher would follow the principles of the Montessori teacher education program to create a developmentally appropriate classroom designed to meet the unique needs and interests of its students.  School and state requirements/guidelines must be followed, keeping safety at the forefront at all times

Responsibilities may include:  Supporting small and large group instruction, morning and afternoon carline duty, supervision of students during transitions, lunch and recess and clerical duties as assigned by lead teacher.

Preferred Qualifications:  Montessori credential, State of Ohio Teaching License

Required: Undergraduate degree, background check
