Experience to include a minimum of three years of leadership in functional strategy development and execution of new initiatives and/or business development related to fundraising initiatives. Requires a minimum of 3 years of staff management experience. Strong interpersonal skill and proven ability to motivate and energize staff to function effectively to achieve team goals.
Work Authorization: Must be authorized to work in the U.S.A. for any employer.
Travel: Up to 25% of time domestically.
Estimated Salary Range: $123,700 – $184,320
The Job
The National Director of Corporate Engagement will maximize World Vision's ministry through leadership of a highly effective team of fundraisers tasked to cultivate, acquire, and retain complex, multi-level corporate relationships. Provide strategic direction to relational fundraising teams for Gifts in Kind (GIK), cause marketing, cash grant, workplace giving and matching gift to generate approximately $400 million in annual resources for World Vision. Help carry out our Christian organization’s mission, vision, and strategies. Personify the ministry of World Vision by witnessing to Christ and ministering to others through life, deed, word and sign.
Your Responsibilities Will Include
- Keep Christ central in individual and corporate life. Actively participate in and contribute to the spiritual disciplines of the organization (Christian conduct, chapel, prayer, worship, devotions, and leadership of devotions); incorporate WV Core Values into decisions within scope of role.
- Inspire team to achieve stretching fundraising targets through love, grace, and Christ-like accountability.
- Maximize WV's ministry by leading a team of relational fundraisers to identify opportunities and develop both short and long-term strategies with national and multi-national companies, yielding substantial funding to support WV's work.
- Develop strategic plan, objectives, and budget for the team, ensuring alignment with World Vision US' broader objectives.
o Collaborate, develop, and integrate strategies with appropriate WVUS groups to leverage and grow partners' time, talent, treasure, and influence towards World Vision's ministry programs.
o Evaluate results, analyze strategy effectiveness, and modify strategy based upon results, coordinating efforts and gathering information as needed from staff across the organization.
- Serve on Philanthropy Leadership Team and promote culture of unity, innovation and trust.
- Represent WVUS in select public speaking engagements and media interviews, as assigned, articulating model of transformational development to increase both prospects' and donors' passion and involvement in multiple business solutions.
- Hire, fire, train, counsel, evaluate, and recommend salary increases and promotions for those under direct supervision.
- Work collaboratively with team members when assigned to work as a member of a team.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

Salary & Benefits
WVUS Pay Grade Level: 230
Estimated hiring range is $123,700 – $184,320.
The posted hiring salary range reflects pay for U.S. locations and is determined using market data and internal compensation guidelines. Actual compensation may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic location, job-related experience, and applicable laws. A different range may apply in certain locations.
