In addition to education or education equivalent, requires a minimum of 5 years’ related work experience, preferably in an advertising/marketing agency setting and growing client relationships, with a thorough knowledge of marketing agency capabilities and offerings. Proficiency in developing client proposals, scopes of work (SOWs), and creative briefs required. Skill in managing clients through programs with multiple complex projects and expertise in leading integrated strategies aligned with client business objectives required.
Work Authorization: Must be authorized to work in the U.S.A for any employer.
Estimated hiring range is $81,300 - $112,590
The Job
The Account Strategist will develop strong brand and marketing strategies for internal clients/customers and manage consistent execution of those strategies throughout programs and initiatives. Communicate regularly with internal clients regarding high-level brand and marketing direction and project requirements, including scope negotiations, budgets, change orders, and/or out-of-scope requests. Work closely with the marketing Internal Agency function and related project managers around creative and content development and execution for agreed scopes of work. Help carry out our Christian organization’s mission, vision, and strategies. Personify the ministry of World Vision by witnessing to Christ and ministering to others through life, deed, word and sign.
Responsibilities Will Include
Keep Christ central in individual and corporate life. Actively participate in and contribute to the spiritual disciplines of the organization (Christian conduct, chapel, prayer, worship, devotions, and leadership of devotions); incorporate WV Core Values into decisions within scope of role.
Serve as primary business relationship owner between internal client and marketing internal agency function account teams, including ownership of ongoing internal client communication (e.g. budget and/or program-campaign related)
Develop scope of work (SOW) requirements for internal client programs, campaigns, projects requiring brand and marketing content/creative/communications, with input from internal clients
Review and approve project proposals and scopes of work (SOWs), deliver to internal client and secure project approval; manage out of scope requests at project level.
Oversee brand activation development within detailed Channel plans to ensure consistent brand messaging and maximize impact of the campaign.
Maintain comprehensive knowledge of core marketing internal agency service offerings and capabilities to effectively leverage resources and drive strategic initiatives.
Cultivate ongoing relationships with internal clients to inform ongoing strategic brand and communications recommendations that solve client business objectives and enable successful execution of the organization’s programs and campaigns; maintain working knowledge of the organization’s industry, segment, donor profiles, and external peers
Collaborate with the Creative function team to ensure that creative execution remains on strategy, provides strong brand stewardship, and delivers quality creative execution.
Work collaboratively with team members when assigned to work as a member of a team.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Maintain awareness of corporate goals, objectives, organizational announcements, and activities. Reference and follow organizational policies and procedures, seeking clarity as needed.

Salary & Benefits
WVUS Pay Grade Level: 225
Estimated hiring range is $81,300 - $112,590
The posted hiring salary range reflects pay for U.S. locations and is determined using market data and internal compensation guidelines. Actual compensation may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic location, job-related experience, and applicable laws. A different range may apply in certain locations.
