Estimated hiring range: $24.04/hour - $31.58/hour
The Job
As the WASH Data Fellow, you will contribute to World Vision’s mission, advancing access to clean water, sanitation, and hygiene as foundations of child well-being. World Vision has over 35 years of experience partnering with communities worldwide to deliver sustainable WASH solutions, grounded in the call of Matthew 25:34–40.
This role supports World Vision’s five-year Global WASH Business Plan spanning 42 countries and emphasizing innovation, advanced analytics, and data-informed decision-making. The fellow will help develop and scale data analytics and orchestration of pipelines between layered data architectures to strengthen high-level insights about global WASH investments and programming. This is a remote full-time, two-year fellowship (with a negotiable part-time remote option through May 2026) embedded within a high-performing global WASH team of 19 in World Vision’s International Programs Group. Tools, systems, and strategies developed through the fellowship will be integrated into ongoing WASH programs, budgets, and partnerships, driving long-term, system-wide impact beyond the fellowship period.
Responsibilities will include
- Keep Christ central in individual and corporate life. Actively participate in and contribute to the spiritual disciplines of the organization (Christian conduct, chapel, prayer, worship, devotions, and leadership of devotions); incorporate WV Core Values into decisions within scope of role.
- Query and manipulate programmatic output and financial data through ETL processes from multiple databases to prepare multi-dimensional datasets for on-going analysis and dynamic forecasting.
- Lead Machine Learning and Data-Informed Solutions: You will gain experience designing and implementing data engineering and analytics pilot projects, addressing inefficiencies to enhance WASH programs’ long-term impact and sustainability.
- Build Data Accessibility: You will lead in the creation of near-real time data visualization products for WASH team members, equipping them with the skills and tools to easily use financial and programmatic data in their daily operations.
- Analyze Data from Remote Sensing & Hydraulic Models: You will collaborate with team members to analyze data from small scale rural water system meters to generate insights for efficient water distribution and management.
- Communicate Project Results: You will contribute to creating reports, visualizations, and presentations that showcase the impact of our WASH work to internal and external stakeholders.
- Engage in Mentorship and Professional Development: You will have the opportunity to work with and be mentored by WASH leaders receiving guidance on navigating global development challenges.

Salary & Benefits
WVUS Pay Grade Level: 219
Estimated hiring range is: $24.04/hour - $31.58/hour
The posted hiring salary range reflects pay for U.S. locations and is determined using market data and internal compensation guidelines. Actual compensation may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic location, job-related experience, and applicable laws. A different range may apply in certain locations.
