Reports To: Senior Director P&C Leadership and Org Dev
Location: Remote within the U. S. Federal Way, WA or Washington, DC considered for hybrid.
Required Experience: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience (eight years). In addition to education or education equivalent, requires 2-3 years of work experience. Work experience must include successful event/project management or related field. Experience organizing Christian worship programming and/or experiences is preferred. Previous recruiting experience preferred.
Work Authorization: Must be authorized to work in the U.S.A. for any employer.
Estimated Salary Range: $26-$34 per hour
The Job
The Employee Event Coordinator will coordinate multiple Human Resource programs and processes in alignment with the overall Human Resources strategy and under the direction of manager. Responsibilities include oversight of the weekly chapel program, Day of Prayer, annual company summer picnics, and other on-site and virtual employee engagement events. Help carry out our Christian organization’s mission, vision, and strategies. Personify the ministry of World Vision by witnessing to Christ and ministering to others through life, deed, word and sign.
Responsibilities Will Include
· Keep Christ central in individual and corporate life. Actively participate in and contribute to the spiritual disciplines of the organization (Christian conduct, chapel, prayer, worship, devotions, and leadership of devotions); incorporate WV Core Values into decisions within scope of role.
· Coordinate weekly chapel programs in collaboration with the faith engagement function, including diverse speaker and worship engagement, audio/visual coordination, communications and event administration.
· Support the logistics and effective execution of annual Day of Prayer. Responsibilities include ensuring activities align with World Vision theme, and coordinating logistics for speakers, venue, communications, volunteers, and general program support.
· Engage and coordinate programming for Annual Summer Picnics, Virtual Regional Connection Groups, onsite/hybrid staff events including onsite or hybrid Chapel.
· Create, maintain and prioritize communication materials, including technical and persuasive written presentations using diverse media forms and communication tools (including internet/intranet, video production, A/V support, reports, and graphics).
· Provide administrative support for employee events and training such as tuition reimbursement, training registration and reporting.
· Work collaboratively with team members when assigned to work as a member of a team.
· Perform other duties as assigned.
· Maintain awareness of corporate goals, objectives, organizational announcements, and activities. Reference and follow organizational policies and procedures, seeking clarity as needed.

Salary & Benefits
WVUS Pay Grade Level: 220
Estimated hiring range is $26-$34 per hour.
The posted hiring salary range reflects pay for U.S. locations and is determined using market data and internal compensation guidelines. Actual compensation may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic location, job-related experience, and applicable laws. A different range may apply in certain locations.
