Reports to: Director, Financial Planning and Analysis

Location: Federal Way, Washington or Remote

Required Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field; MBA or CPA preferred. 8+ years of experience in financial planning and analysis, strategic finance, or marketing analytics. Strong understanding of recurring revenue models, customer metrics, and cohort analysis. 

Work Authorization: Must be authorized to work in the U.S.A for any employer.

Estimated hiring range: $113,000 – $137,000

The Job

The Senior Strategic Finance Partner role will be instrumental in driving insights around product performance and strategy, donor behavior and retention, and acquisition. You’ll partner closely with senior leaders to influence decisions, build sophisticated models, and deliver actionable insights that shape our go-to-market strategy and long-term growth. 

Responsibilities will include

  • Keep Christ central in individual and corporate life. Actively participate in and contribute to the spiritual disciplines of the organization (Christian conduct, chapel, prayer, worship, devotions, and leadership of devotions); incorporate WV Core Values into decisions within scope of role.
  • Marketing Finance Partnership: Serve as a critical finance liaison to the Marketing team, supporting planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes while advising senior leaders on financial implications of strategic initiatives. 
  • Donor & Revenue Analytics: Conduct deep-dive analysis of donor behavior, retention trends, and cohort performance to inform strategic decisions and optimize recurring revenue streams. 
  • Advanced Modeling & Forecasting: Build and refine complex financial models incorporating donor lifecycle metrics, marketing ROI, and revenue projections; leveraging scenario planning and sensitivity analysis to guide decision-making. 
  • Strategic Insights: Translate complex data into clear, compelling insights for senior leadership, enabling data-driven decisions across marketing and growth initiatives; influence stakeholders by presenting actionable recommendations. 
  • Performance Measurement: Develop and monitor KPIs related to acquisition, retention, and lifetime value; design dashboards and automated reporting tools to improve visibility and performance tracking. 
  • Investment Evaluation: Lead financial analysis for new marketing initiatives, including feasibility studies, business case development, and risk assessments. 
  • Reporting & Communication: Prepare and present recurring and ad hoc reports for senior leadership, highlighting key trends, strategic implications, and actionable recommendations. 
  • Process Optimization: Drive improvements in planning, reporting, and data flow processes; implement automation and advanced analytics techniques to enhance efficiency and accuracy. 
  • Leadership & Mentorship: Provide guidance, coaching, and mentorship to team members, fostering skill development and a culture of continuous improvement.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field; MBA or CPA preferred. 
  • 8+ years of experience in financial planning and analysis, strategic finance, or marketing analytics. 
  • Strong understanding of recurring revenue models, customer metrics, and cohort analysis. 
  • Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills; experience with BI tools and planning platforms is a plus. 
  • Proven ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders and communicate effectively with executive audiences. 
  • Strategic thinker with a proactive approach to identifying risks, opportunities, and process improvements. 
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative mindset. 

Salary & Benefits

WVUS Pay Grade Level: 227

Estimated hiring range is: $113,000 – $137,000

The posted hiring salary range reflects pay for U.S. locations and is determined using market data and internal compensation guidelines. Actual compensation may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic location, job-related experience, and applicable laws. A different range may apply in certain locations.
