The Sr. Project Manager proactively navigates ambiguity, resolves issues, and keeps stakeholders informed and engaged.

  • Example projects: Transform Sponsor Experience—connecting disparate components between global efforts, sponsor experience initiatives, and in-year changes (e.g., delinquency and related elements).

Portfolio Oversight (with Sr. Director)

  • Support the Sr. Director in managing the division’s portfolio of projects, integrating internal projects into organizational processes.

  • Consolidate project intake, prioritization, and status reporting into a unified view using Jira.

  • Develop dashboards and portfolio-level metrics for leadership, creating a model for retrospectives after each release of capabilities.

Embedded PM Standards & Enablement

  • Define a lightweight, consistent PM playbook for embedded PMs inside marketing teams.

  • Provide onboarding, tools, and templates (e.g., scoping docs, status updates, retrospective guides).

  • Coach embedded PMs to ensure consistent execution.

  • Champion best practices in project management and marketing operations, driving continuous improvement.

  • Support a growing movement towards agile ways of working; introduce and reinforce Scaled Agile, Scrum, and similar standards and practices, enabling flexibility and learning loops

  • Keep informed of organizational announcements, activities and changes via regular reading of the WVUS Intranet and other corporate communication.

  • Perform other duties as assigned.

  • Proven expertise in full life-cycle project management, from planning and design through testing, implementation, and evaluation of large, cross-functional initiatives.

  • Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to guide diverse teams, build alignment, and communicate effectively across multiple divisions.

  • Strategic and analytical thinking, including experience prioritizing portfolios, managing budgets of $250K+, and using data to drive decisions and continuous improvement.

  • Operational maturity and organizational agility to deliver results in a fast-paced, matrixed environment while maintaining governance, quality, and collaboration.

  • Experience in marketing, digital, or consumer packaged goods (CPG) industries preferred; familiarity with technology or agency environments a plus.
