World Vision is hiring an Executive Administrator to serve in the Transformational Engagement Division.

Role: Executive Administrator

Reports to: Senior Director, Strategy and Operations

Location: Federal Way, WA

Required Experience: High School/GED or equivalent. Work experience in office administration or related field; 5- 8 years. Work experience supporting high level staff preferred.

Work Authorization: Must be authorized to work in the U.S.A. for any employer.

Estimated Salary Range: $31.00 - $36.00 per hour

 

The Job

Provide overall coordination of division and office staff, technical assistance and research, and implementation of various projects under minimal supervision and requiring significant use of own judgement and discernment. Help carry out our Christian organization’s mission, vision, and strategies. Personify the Ministry of World Vision by witnessing to Christ and ministering to others through life, deed, word and sign.

 

Responsibilities Will Include

·       Keep Christ central in individual and corporate life. Actively participate in and contribute to the spiritual disciplines of the organization (Christian conduct, devotions, chapel, prayer, worship); incorporate WV Core Values into decisions within scope of role.

·        Perform complex and diverse administrative duties directly related to the achievement of department/division or program goals and strategies that involve high-level contacts and exposure to sensitive information, necessitating considerable use of tact, diplomacy, discretion and judgement.

·        Perform and coordinate key projects and liaise with internal and external contacts on project and information needs.

·        Read, review and analyze mail, prioritize and delegate to staff as appropriate. Perform follow-up on action items as needed.

·        Perform research and prepare reports on highly confidential or technical issues for leadership. Prepare and/or edit internal and external reports, papers, and drafts as needed.

·        Maintain technical, confidential, and special project files in an organized, easy to use format.

·        Coordinate meetings, maintain calendars, coordinate conferences, perform timekeeping functions, and make travel arrangements as needed.

·        May supervise one or more clerical staff.

·        Work collaboratively with team members when assigned to work as a member of a team.

·        Perform other duties as assigned.

·        Maintain awareness of corporate goals, objectives, organizational announcements, and activities. Reference and follow organizational policies and procedures, seeking clarity as needed.

Requirements

High School/GED or equivalent. Work experience in office administration or related field; 5- 8 years. Work experience supporting high level staff preferred.

 

Salary & Benefits

WVUS Pay Grade Level: 221

Estimated hiring range is $31.00 - $36.00 per hour.
