Position Type: Part-time (typically 20-30 hours)
Location: Remote
Required Experience: Associates degree in HR, Business Administration, or other related field or equivalent (four years) work experience. In addition to education or educational equivalent, requires at least 2 years of work experience in human resources or related field, preferably with some prior administration of benefits, leaves and/or accommodations.
Work Authorization: Must be authorized to work in the U.S.A. for any employer.
Estimated Salary Range: $28.70-33.23 per hour
The Job
The HR Operations Coordinator will provide basic and mid-level operational support for Total Reward programs with a focus on compliance activities, leave administration, and performance management processes. Enter, monitor and audit employee transactions in HRIS and other applicable systems. Support optimization of HR operational procedures, systems, resources and tools. Perform project coordination work as assigned. Help carry out our Christian organization’s mission, vision, and strategies. Personify the ministry of World Vision by witnessing to Christ and ministering to others through life, deed, word and sign.
Responsibilities Will Include
- Keep Christ central in individual and corporate life. Actively participate in and contribute to the spiritual disciplines of the organization (Christian conduct, chapel, prayer, worship, devotions, and leadership of devotions); incorporate WV Core Values into decisions within scope of role.
- Leave Administration:
- Serve on WVUS Leave Administration team, coordinating with vendor to process leave requests, ensuring timely action and compliance with applicable WVUS policy and municipal/state/federal regulations.
- Manage employee time sheet entries during approved leaves of absence (LOA) and provide regular reports to Payroll.
- Coordinate benefit activities for employees on LOA with Benefits Administrator
- Inform HR Business Partner and other internal department contacts as appropriate regarding leave status, estimated return to work, and system/building access changes.
- Maintain related policy documents and communication on intranet.
- Database Management:
- Monitor and process employee transactions in the HRIS and other related databases. Upload external data to HRIS.
- Create and run HRIS reports for legal, payroll, or other department coordination and audit.
- Support extended team by providing first-level troubleshooting of HRIS related to leave, benefits, compensation and performance information.
- Performance Cycle Support:
- Coordinate with Total Rewards leader to update goal planning and performance review system in preparation for each annual review cycle.
- Update intranet site content and other internal communications to ensure managers and employees are equipped with support resources.
- Monitor progress of each cycle and provide status reporting to HRBP team.
- Other Total Rewards & Operations Support:
- Manage compliance filings, updates, and audits.
- Process wage theft notifications.
- Administer unemployment payment processes.
- Assist in maintenance of Total Reward programs and policy information on intranet.
- Assist with HRIS testing as needed to ensure new releases or configuration changes are operating as intended.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Maintain awareness of corporate goals, objectives, organizational announcements, and activities. Reference and follow organizational policies and procedures, seeking clarity as needed.

Salary & Benefits
WVUS Pay Grade Level: 220
Estimated hiring range is $28.70-33.23 per hour.
This range applies to locations with a market similar to our Federal Way and Washington D.C. offices. A different range may apply based on your work location.
