World Vision US is hiring a Sr. Church Engagement Specialist to serve in the Transformational Engagement division.

Role: Sr. Church Engagement Specialist 

Reports to:   Director of Fundraising Programs

Location: Remote

Required Experience: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience (eight years).  In addition to education or education equivalent, requires 5 years of work experience in sales/fundraising support working directly with sales/fundraising representatives and utilizing various sales reporting tools (i.e., CRM) or related customer service support function. 

Work Authorization:Must be authorized to work in the U.S.A. for any employer.

Estimated Salary Range: $69,760-$83,400.

 

The Job

The Sr. Church Engagement Specialist will partner with Sr. Church Advisors (SCA’s) within assigned region and consult on and oversee the administration of all phases of the moves management of Chosen church acquisition and independently coordinate aspects of that work alongside the SCA to achieve sponsorship file growth. Coordinate multiple tasks of high priority while delivering exceptional customer service and good business decision making.   Help carry out our Christian organization’s mission, vision, and strategies. Personify the ministry of World Vision by witnessing to Christ and ministering to others through life, deed, word, and sign.

o   Keep Christ central in individual and corporate life. Actively participate in and contribute to the spiritual disciplines of the organization (Christian conduct, devotions, chapel, prayer, worship); incorporate WV Core Values into decisions within scope of role.

o   Church Acquisition Support:

·       Monitor progress toward fundraising goals and acquisition drivers. Summarize and interpret findings and develop reports and analysis to inform Senior Leadership and Regional SCA’s and influence fiscal year forecasting.

·       Liaise with Church Activation teams and other teams and consult in the development of tactical strategic plans to manage acquisition of new prospect leads.

·       Conduct research identifying giving patterns and trends.

·       Analyze results and provide recommendations to leadership, informing team’s forecasting decisions and goal setting.

·       Assist in gaining high value lead generation for the SCA in a region.  Keep CRM data and tracking organized, effecting positive funnel management and pipeline projections of region.

 

o   Chosen Fulfillment Support:

·       Oversee collaboration to achieve CTA response rates to hit regional roll up goals of 7,500+ sponsorships per fiscal year.

·       Assist Regional SCA’s in the scheduling and coordination of Chosen kickoff, sermon planning and pre-call field meetings for high net-worth church partnerships.

·       In partnership with the Regional SCA’s schedule and coordinate Chosen choosing party vision trips, including serving as liaison between travelers and internal department and serving as liaison with donor’s hosts. Includes both onsite and virtual facilitation. Assist with preparation and planning, including budget planning.

·       Assist Regional SCA’s with Chosen church ADP/Country research and in the creation of celebration reports.

·       Serve as a subject matter expert in all related systems, such as CRM, EDW, Concur.

 

o   Department Support:

·       Responsible for monitoring team budget. Includes preparation for fiscal year planning, tracking expenses and financial transactions throughout the year.

·       Provide customer service to internal and external business partners and donors.

·       Work collaboratively with team members when assigned to work as a member of a team.

·       Perform other duties as assigned.

·       Maintain awareness of corporate goals, objectives, organizational announcements, and activities. Reference and follow organizational policies and procedures, seeking clarity as needed.

 

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience (eight years).  In addition to education or education equivalent, requires 5 years of work experience in sales/fundraising support working directly with sales/fundraising representatives and utilizing various sales reporting tools (i.e., CRM) or related customer service support function.  Experience must include responsibility for donor research, analysis and making recommendations that optimize team productivity.   Proficiency using Excel, Power BI, Adobe and/or similar reporting tools required.

 

Salary Range & Benefits

WVUS Pay Grade Level: 223

Typical hiring range is $69,760-$83,400.

The full salary range for this role is $66,700.00- $100,100.

This range applies to locations with a market similar to our Federal Way and Washington D.C. offices. A different range may apply based on your work location.

Job offers are based on relevant qualifications and pay equity.
