World Vision is hiring a Director, Financial Planning and Analysis to serve the ecommerce portfolio from within the Finance division.

 

At a Glance: 

Role: Director, Financial Planning and Analysis

Reports to: VP of Financial Planning, Analysis and Treasury

Location:  Seattle, WA hybrid preferred; Potential remote within the U.S.

Required Experience: Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field. Master’s in Business Administration (MBA) or Certified Public Accountant (CPA) required. Minimum of 10 years of experience in financial planning and analysis, with at least 5 years in a leadership role. Strong analytical skills and proficiency in financial modeling and forecasting.

Work Authorization:Must be authorized to work in the U.S.A. for any employer.

Estimated Salary Range: $115,000-$146,000

In this Job, you will:

Drive financial strategy and performance for the ecommerce portfolio, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.

Lead a high-performing team, enhancing analytics capabilities, and providing actionable insights to support scalable growth and strategic decision-making in a fast-paced, digital-first environment.

Oversee ecommerce budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting processes, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.

Help carry out our Christian organization’s mission, vision, and strategies. Personify the ministry of World Vision by witnessing to Christ and ministering to others through life, deed, word and sign. 

 

Responsibilities Will Include:

Keep Christ central in individual and corporate life. Actively participate in and contribute to the spiritual disciplines of the organization (Christian conduct, chapel, prayer, worship, devotions, and leadership of devotions); incorporate World Vision Core Values into decisions within scope of role.

Drive the financial strategy and performance for the ecommerce portfolio, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives.

Lead and develop the financial planning and analysis functions that evaluate ecommerce performance, customer acquisition costs, conversion rates and digital ROI, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement. 

Serve as a trusted advisor to key decision-makers, influencing financial performance, decisions, and strategy.

Enhance analytics capabilities to provide actionable financial insights to optimize pricing, promotions, and channel profitability that support scalable growth, strategic decision-making, new digital investments and platform enhancements.   

Direct and manage the ecommerce portfolio-wide budgeting, forecasting, planning, and financial performance reporting processes.

Oversee the preparation and presentation of financial reports to senior leadership, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.

Develop and refine complex financial models to forecast revenue, expenses, and cash flow, supporting long-term strategic planning.

Leads the implementation, automation and maintenance of advanced analytical tools and techniques to provide actionable insights, with a focus on e-commerce metrics (e.g., LTV, CAC, conversion rates, AOV).

Work collaboratively with team members, including segment, product and donor marketing, when assigned to work as a member of a team. 

Perform other duties as assigned.

Reference and follow organizational policies and procedures, seeking clarity as needed. 

 

You Bring These Skills and Experiences: 

Strong understanding of ecommerce KPIs, digital marketing metrics, and customer lifecycle economies.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate with senior management. 

Experience with advanced analytics tools and techniques (e.g., data visualization, predictive modeling).

Proven track record of driving decision-making and business growth through effective financial planning and analysis.  

The ideal candidate will bring deep experience in ecommerce business models, digital revenue streams, and customer behavior analytics.

 

Your Education: 

Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field. Master’s in Business Administration (MBA) or Certified Public Accountant (CPA) required. Minimum of 10 years of experience in financial planning and analysis, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.

 

Salary Range & Benefits: 

WVUS Pay Grade Level: 229

Typical hiring range is $115,000-$146,000.

The full salary range for this role is $110,500 - $182,300.

This range applies to locations with a market similar to our Federal Way and Washington D.C. offices. A different range may apply based on your work location.
