Work Authorization:Must be authorized to work in the U.S.A. for any employer.

Estimated Salary Range: $89,680- $115,000

 

 

The Job

 

Join World Vision as a Senior Fiscal Operations & Strategy Manager and help drive strategic operations, financial performance, and operational excellence across our private donor marketing teams. In this senior role, you'll act as a key advisor to department leadership, streamline internal operations, and lead critical initiatives that improve efficiency and impact with the clear demonstration of results to prove it.

 

We're looking for a mission-driven leader with strong business acumen, professional presence, experience reporting on P&Ls, and a passion for process improvement. You'll centralize and strengthen core operations, freeing up our marketing teams to focus on strategic growth.

Responsibilities Will Include:

  • Keep Christ central in individual and corporate life. Actively participate in and contribute to the spiritual disciplines of the organization (Christian conduct, chapel, prayer, worship, devotions, and leadership of devotions); incorporate WV Core Values into decisions within scope of role.
  •  Serve as a business advisor to the department leadership team, relating to both quantitative (financial performance metrics) and qualitative (HR, relational) planning and issues.
  •  Fiscal Functions
    • Budget Management: Develop, manage, and monitor annual and quarterly revenue & expense budgets, bringing transparency of alignment with strategic goals.
    • Financial Planning & Analysis: Provide accurate forecasts, variance analyses, and actionable insights to guide  spend and ROI. Translate this data to actionable insights at the business drivers level
    • P&L Reporting: Track marketing-related revenue and expenses; ensure Portfolio leaders have ready access to profitability targets across campaigns and initiatives.
    • Performance Reporting: Partner with the team and others to create clear, timely financial reports and dashboards to measure the financial effectiveness of marketing efforts.
    • Strategic Partnership: Serve as a financial advisor to leadership, supporting strategic decision-making and investment prioritization.
  • Operations Functions:
    • Process Improvement: Identify and implement financial, contractual and other process efficiencies within division's operations.
    • Support audit readiness and compliance by representing PSPM in organizational activities, maintaining clear documentation, controls, and ensuring implementation of revised processes resulting from audits.
    • Design and implement process improvements to increase efficiency, reduce complexity, and support change management across PSPM and adjacent teams. Participate in change process initiatives, representing PSPM, ensuring alignment and inclusion of needs in others’ processes. 
  • Develop strong relationships as the liaison/advocate to key WVUS departments through effective communications, planning and partnership.
    • Represent the department to these teams, ensuring their products, processes and systems support overall strategic and objectives.
  • May hire, fire, train, counsel, evaluate and recommend salary increases and promotions for those under direct supervision.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
  • Keep informed of organizational announcements, activities and changes via regular reading of the WVUS Intranet and other corporate communication tools.

 

You Bring These Skills

Strength in using Microsoft Excel with advanced formulas, pivot tables.

Experience using PowerBI (or similar) effectively to create dashboards of data.

Desire to serve others by making work simpler.

Understand lean process model or similar operational efficiency approaches.

 

Requirements

Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience (eight years). Work experience in strategic planning, operations, and/or business management; 7-8 years.

 

Salary Range & Benefits

WVUS Pay Grade Level: 226

Typical hiring range is $89,680- $115,000.

The full salary range for this role is $84,600- $135,400. 

This range applies to locations with a market similar to our Federal Way and Washington D.C. offices. A different range may apply based on your work location.

Job offers are based on relevant qualifications and pay equity.
