Travel: Up to 10% of time in the U.S.
Estimated Salary Range: $75,220 - $90,900.

The Job
World Vision is looking for a Training & Development Specialist to join the People and Culture Division of World Vision USA. As an independent professional, you will serve on the Leadership and Organizational Development Team as the L&D point of contact for all leadership training at World Vision US. This individual will work with internal leaders and external vendors to customize and contextualize materials, deliver training, and lead groups/cohorts to apply learning.
You will:
- Identify and help implement vendor partnerships to support sustainable leadership development at scale and speed.
- Ensure Christ-centered leadership development programs and experience for staff in alignment with our mission and vision.
- Facilitate and deliver innovative and engaging training programs using a variety of training methods including webinars, and e-learning modules, and some in-person experiences. You will facilitate groups or cohorts to apply learning.
- Customize and contextualize training programs based on needs assessment and World Vision goals.
- Manage compliance training, scheduling, logistics, materials, and LMS requirements. You will monitor feedback and adapt programs based on training impact.
- Help carry out our Christian organization’s mission, vision, and strategies.
- Personify the ministry of World Vision by witnessing to Christ and ministering to others through life, deed, word, and sign.
- Keep Christ central in individual and corporate life. Actively participate in and contribute to the spiritual disciplines of the organization (Christian conduct, chapel, prayer, worship, devotions, and leadership of devotions); incorporate WV Core Values into decisions within scope of role.
Your Ideal Candidate Profile:
- Passionate about the World Vision mission and your role in guiding leaders and staff to reach their full potential.
- Proven track record and past performance in facilitation, training delivery and instructional design of managers/leaders in a medium to larger-sized complex organization.
- Past experience/certifications to deliver training such as Crucial Conversations and proficiency using Articulate 360 or similar software.
- Self-starter, independent, and results focused professional. You know that the call to save lives is urgent.
Your Education and Experience:

Salary Range & Benefits:
- WVUS Pay Grade Level: 224
- Typical hiring range is $75,220 - $90,900.
- The full salary range for this role is $71,300 - $110,500
- This range applies to locations with a market similar to our Federal Way and Washington D.C. offices. A different range may apply based on your work location.
- Job offers are based on relevant qualifications and pay equity.
