World Vision is hiring a Senior Account Strategist to serve in World Vision's Internal Creative Agency.

Location: Hybrid if near Seattle or Washington, D.C; Remote from within the U.S.
Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Marketing or equivalent work experience (eight years). In addition to education or education equivalent, requires a minimum of eight (8) years’ related work experience. Previous experience working in a marketing agency and thorough knowledge of agency capabilities and offerings is essential. Mastery in developing client proposals and scopes of work (SOWs) as well as expertise in developing program/campaign goals and benchmarking required. Proficiency in program/campaign and project analysis, skill in creating integrated marketing plans aligned with clients' business objectives, and skill in providing strong brand stewardship for clients throughout the relationship, growing client relationships and successfully resolving conflicts, and expanding business within respective client accounts is required.
Work Authorization: Must be authorized to work in the U.S.A for any employer.

The Job
Provide strong brand stewardship and strategic direction for internal clients’ marketing programs and initiatives, to help meet their business objectives. In collaboration with the internal Creative and Project Management teams, develop marketing strategy and marketing plans, oversee creation of creative and project briefs, and ensure a high degree of strategic intent into all such programs and projects. Build strong client relationships, negotiate conflict resolution as needed, and provide ongoing strategic recommendations to support account and portfolio growth and profitability. Work closely with the Brand and Content Director and the marketing Internal Agency function team to scope solutions for prospecting and marketing to win new business.

Client Consultation
- 
Engage with clients to comprehend their business objectives, challenges, target segments to help sharpen intake and creative briefs 
- 
Build strong, collaborative relationships with internal stakeholders to ensure alignment in strategy and execution 
- 
For bigger tentpole, integrated campaigns, you’ll work with other divisions of World Vision – PR, Digital Experience Group, Social teams, other - you’ll need to collaborate and ensure all the work is strategically aligned and on brand. 
Creative Brief Development
- 
Develop clear and inspiring creative briefs that articulate client goals and provide direction for creative teams using segmentation and donor journey insights 
- 
Ensure briefs are informed by thorough research and insights to foster innovative solutions using a modern marketing tool-kit 
- 
Be a coach to the World Vision strategy team in brief creation, writing, insight distillation. 
Creative Presentations
- 
Work with teams and creative leaders to present strategic concepts and work to clients with confidence and clarity, effectively communicating the rationale behind creative solutions 
- 
Gather feedback and ensure alignment with client expectations throughout the project lifecycle. 
Collaborate with Project Management
- 
Work with project managers and the operations team to oversee the progress of creative projects, ensuring adherence to timelines and quality standards 
- 
Collaborate with creative teams to refine concepts and ensure successful implementation of strategies based on input from client marketing partners. 
Outcome Measurement
- 
Analyze the effectiveness of marketing campaigns against set objectives, providing insights and recommendations for continuous improvement 
- 
Ensure the work presented reflects the thinking outlined in the agreed Brand House and Brand Guidelines 
- 
Prepare reports and presentations to showcase campaign performance and strategic learnings 
- 
With team members, track progress of communications against the brand tracker to help monitor success in growing unaided awareness versus key competitors. 
Overall Client Relationship Management
- 
Resolve conflicts and manage negotiations, aiming for high resolution and positive success rates 
- 
Understand internal clients' portfolio and external peers and competitors, supported by thorough market analysis and competitive benchmarking 
- 
Conduct regular account reviews to ensure effective management and satisfaction 
- 
Manage out-of-scope requests at the program/campaign level, ensuring budget adherence 
- 
Ensure account contracts are signed before starting marketing Internal Agency function work, achieving high completion rates 
- 
Maintain professional internal/external relationships to ensure effective collaboration and support for achieving organizational goals. 
Maintain awareness of corporate goals, objectives, organizational announcements, and activities. Reference and follow organizational policies and procedures, seeking clarity as needed.

You will work with client marketing partners to ensure the work successfully delivers on KPIs. You will play a vital role in shaping campaigns that align with World Vision's mission to create lasting change in the lives of the most vulnerable communities around the globe.
