Role: Lead Software Developer, Marketing Orchestration
Reports To: Sr. Director of Strategy, Product, and Marketing Ops
Level: Senior (individual contributor, 7+ years of experience)
Location: Pacific Northwest region (WA, OR, ID) except working onsite in HQ office in Federal Way, WA 1-2x per month
Office Culture: Flexible remote/hybrid with 1-2 onsite days per month
Salary: $93,100 - $149,000 (typical offers: $115,000 - $130,000), DOE

As our Lead Developer & Architect, you’ll play a pivotal role in designing and implementing our new Iterable-based platform, shaping the future of our donor experiences.

How You’ll Make an Impact
- Architect & Develop: Lead the technical design and development of our new marketing automation platform, ensuring a seamless and scalable solution.
- Collaborate & Innovate: Work closely with specialists, marketing, and data teams to craft personalized, tech-driven donor experiences.
- Mentor & Inspire: Guide a team of marketing campaign specialists and technologists, fostering a culture of innovation and learning.
- Optimize & Automate: Use JavaScript, Advanced HTML, CSS, and SQL to build and refine high-impact campaigns on Iterable.
- Drive Digital Transformation: Champion digital-first strategies and AI-driven insights to revolutionize donor communication.
What We’re Looking For
- 7+ years of experience in software development, marketing technology, or related fields with at least 2 years managing projects in a marketing organization
- Proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and SQL, with strong data management skills – marketing is mostly about getting the data right.
- Strong understanding and knowledge in any of the following areas, particularly in the martech ecosystem: mobile integration/SDKs, APIs, data flow/integrations, martech stack ecosystem
- Experience with API integrations, data flows, and scalable SaaS solutions.
- Strong communicator who bridges the gap between marketing and technology.
- Passion for purpose-driven work exemplified by leveraging technology to create meaningful change.
