World Vision is hiring a Warehouse Specialist to serve on the US Programs Team in the Fife Warehouse.

Hours: 7:30am - 4:00pm
Reports to: Warehouse Operations Manager
Required Experience: High School/GED or equivalent. Minimum of 3-5 years warehouse experience required. Forklift certification preferred.
Work Authorization: Must be authorized to work in the U.S.A. for any employer.
Estimated Salary Range: $21.50-$24 per hour based on experience
The Job
World Vision is looking for a Warehouse Specialist to sort, retrieve, and stock warehouse product. Prepare product for shipment, assist in managing inventory, and perform related clerical duties. Help carry out our Christian organization’s mission, vision, and strategies. Personify the ministry of World Vision by witnessing to Christ and ministering to others through life, deed, word and sign. You will also:
- Keep Christ central in individual and corporate life. Actively participate in and contribute to the spiritual disciplines of the organization (Christian conduct, devotions, chapel, prayer, worship); incorporate WV Core Values into decisions within scope of role.
- Prepare warehouse orders for both in-house and outside domestic and/or international shipping to ensure timely and accurate delivery. May be responsible to provide oversight when volunteers are used to sort, label or stock GIK product.
- Receive and process incoming deliveries.
- Make routine deliveries and pick-ups.
- Complete and maintain appropriate documentation and databases. Perform data entry and adjustments to ensure accurate inventory management.
- Store, retrieve, and stock inventory by using standard warehouse equipment, such as pallet jacks and fork-lifts.
- Help maintain a safe and efficient work environment and equipment, including maintenance of equipment, safety checks and safety training of volunteers and temps.
- Work with senior warehouse staff and/or leadership to implement process improvement projects as needed.
- May participate in or lead safety committee.
- Work collaboratively with team members when assigned to work as a member of a team.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Maintain awareness of corporate goals, objectives, organizational announcements, and activities. Reference and follow organizational policies and procedures, seeking clarity as needed.

Education and Experience:
- High School/GED or equivalent
- Minimum of 3-5 years warehouse experience required
- Forklift certification preferred
Salary Range & Benefits:
- WVUS Pay Grade Level: 217
- The estimated hiring range is $21.50-$24 per hour
- The earning capabilities for this position is $19.52 - $28.32 an hour
