Role: Product Marketer

Location: US Remote, candidates located on the West Coast preferred.

Must have experience: Bachelor's degree in marketing, business or related field or equivalent work experience (8 years) plus a minimum of 7 years of work experience in marketing, fundraising or related area.

01 The Job

As the Product Marketer for World Vision’s Gift Catalog and grant-leveraged products, you will:

  • Lead and manage product messaging, pricing, online merchandising, analysis, insights, and annual planning – ensuring business goals and timelines are met.
  • Help carry out our Christian organization’s mission, vision, and strategies.
  • Personify the ministry of World Vision by witnessing to Christ and ministering to others through life, deed, word and sign.

In addition, you will:

  1. Keep Christ central in individual and corporate life. Actively participate in and contribute to the spiritual disciplines of the organization (Christian conduct, chapel, prayer, worship, devotions, and leadership of devotions); incorporate WV Core Values into decisions within scope of role.
  2. Keep informed of organizational announcements, activities and changes via regular reading of the World Vision U.S. intranet and other corporate communications.
  3. Collaborate effectively with other teams and partners including: fundraising, programs, finance, creative agency, external vendors, and technology to deliver donor-centric, meaningful, and relevant opportunities and experiences that enable supporters to put their faith into action.
  4. Ensure assigned goals are met or exceeded.
  5. Work collaboratively with team members when assigned to work as part of a team.
  6. Perform other duties as assigned.

04 You Bring

Bachelor's degree in marketing, business or related field or equivalent work experience (8 years) plus a minimum of 7 years of work experience in marketing, fundraising or related area.

This particular Product Marketing role requires advanced:

  • Marketing Knowledge: Demonstrates knowledge of marketing principles, including promotional strategy and different forms of marketing such as database, relational and direct response. Effectively applies knowledge of various marketing channels.
  • Business Acumen: Applies principles of finance, accounting and business management to evaluate and quantify potential costs and benefits associated with opportunities. Objectively analyzes alternatives and recommendations appropriate for the organization.
  • Analytical Thinking: Builds a logical approach to address issues, problems or opportunities or manage the situation at hand by drawing on own knowledge and experience base and calling on other references and resources as necessary.
  • Problem Solving: Identifies and analyzes situations and/or issues, considers options, develops and decides on solutions, recommends and/or implements and monitors appropriate solutions.
  • Communication: Conveys complex issues, events and concepts in succinct, easy-to-understand language, both in writing and orally. Presents ideas articulately. Uses effective listening skills to promote the free flow of information. Shows consistency between words and actions. Works collaboratively with others to promote consistent and effective communication. 
  • Go-to-Market Planning Knowledge: Demonstrates knowledge of data- and insights-based planning of marketing deliverables 12 - 18 months in advance. 
  • Results and Deadline Orientation: Drives for quality results and success; demonstrates a sense of urgency in achieving goals; persists despite obstacles. Works effectively in a deadline driven environment, meeting or exceeding time and quality expectations.

05 Salary Range & Benefits 

The full range for this position is $75,705 - $119,412 annually. This applies to locations with a market similar to our U.S. HQ in the Greater Seattle area. A different range may apply based on your work location. Typical hiring range is$82,000 - $100,000 annually. Job offers within the range are based on relevant job qualifications and pay equity. World Vision employees see our Salary Administration Guidelines and My Life My Benefits pages on our organization intranet known as The Vine.
