World Vision is hiring a Compliance Administrator to serve on the Grant and Contracts Services Team.

Location: Washington, D.C. (Hybrid)
Reports to: Director of Grant and Contract Services
Required Experience: Two-year technical or junior college degree or equivalent work experience (four years). Previous administrative support, research, and project support work experience; 1 year. -OR- Bachelor’s degree in a related field, with related experience preferred.
Work Authorization: Must be authorized to work in the U.S.A. for any employer.
Estimated Hourly Range: $25.00 - $27.00 an hour (around $52,000 - $57,000 annually)
 
The Job
World Vision is looking for a Compliance Administrator to provide administrative, research, project, and technical support for World Vision Grant and Contract Services and help carry out our Christian organization’s mission, vision, and strategies. This role needs to be available to go into D.C. with little-to-no notice to work on time-sensitive audits and paperwork. Candidates will be required to live driving-distance or able to access public transportation to the office in Washington, D.C. Candidates should not apply if they are unable or unwilling to relocate to the Washington, D.C. area.
 
Your Responsibilities Will Include: 
 
Alignment with the Mission and Values of World Vision
  • Personify the ministry of World Vision by witnessing to Christ and ministering to others through life, deed, word, and sign.
  • Keep Christ central in individual and corporate lives. 
  • Actively participate and contribute to the spiritual disciplines of World Vision (devotions, weekly Chapel services, and regular prayer). 
  • Incorporate World Vision Core Values into decisions. 
 
Compliance Support 
  • Create and maintain all aspects of the WVUS legal audit file system by managing electronic and original audit documentation and Grant and Contract Services electronic working files.
  • Provide requested records for annual single audit and support as necessary.
  • Review solicitation documents, proposal submissions and new awards as well as other grant related documentation and provide editorial comments to grant and contract officer of record.
  • Assist grant and contract officers in preparation of agreements, contracts, and grant-related documentation.
  • Assist in backstopping for Associate Grant and Contract Officers out of the office.
 
 
Data Administration/Research 
  • Monitor and research donor regulations, provisions and laws related to contracts, cooperative agreements, and grants.
  • Maintain the Grant and Contract Services internal databases and assist in database development and training.
  • Review the Federal Register and Fiscal Note to disseminate information to the Finance, Legal, Programs Group, and Partnership Office staff.
  • Manage and conduct the vetting of donors, contractors, and sub-grantees per internal policy. 
 
Administrative Support 
  • Assist with planning periodic off-site team meetings and annual department meetings.
  • Provide administrative support and assistance to team as needed including, but not limited to organizing meetings, conference calls, interfacing with WV databases, filing, taking minutes, etc.
  • Participate in the orientation, training, and/or hosting of visitors, new employees, and temporary staff on behalf of the department.
  • Work collaboratively with team members when assigned to work as part of team.
  • Keep informed of organizational announcements, activities, and changes by consistently reading our internal website known as The Vine as well as other channels of organizational communication.
  • Perform other duties as assigned. 
 
You Bring These Skills: 
  • Additional language skills in Spanish, French, or Portuguese, preferred. 
  • Strong administrative skills, required.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate compliance requirements to team, required.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple deadlines effectively, required.
  • Able to travel D.C. for time-sensitive requests. 
 
Education and Experience: 
Two-year technical or junior college degree or equivalent work experience (four years). Previous administrative support, research and project support work experience; 1 year.

Bachelor’s degree in related field, with related experience preferred.
 
Salary Range & Benefits: 
WVUS Pay Grade Level: 219
Typical hiring range is $25.00 - $27.00 an hour (around $52,000 - $57,000 annually).
• The full range for this position is $22.50 -$32.92 an hour.
• This range applies to locations with a market similar to our Washington D.C. office. A different range may apply based on your work location.
• Job offers are based on relevant job qualifications and pay equity.
