Job Description

Wilshire seeks an Associate to join its Alternatives Manager Research team. Wilshire is dedicated to providing innovative investment solutions to a wide variety of financial intermediary clients in the areas of asset allocation, manager research, portfolio risk management. Working closely with senior management, you’ll act as a contributing member of the investment team with responsibilities throughout the investment process.

What you’ll do:

  • Act as key member of deal teams with responsibilities for sourcing potential investment opportunities, conducting due diligence and drafting investment memorandums for fund investments and co-investments
  • Ongoing monitoring of existing investments
  • Completing special project assignments

What you have:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 3-5 years of relevant investment experience within alternatives, preferably within the private markets
  • Outstanding written and oral communication skills
  • Team player and client centric
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
  • Ability to work independently and efficiently under time pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
