We are seeking a Senior Analyst who will be responsible for ensuring that data operations and index reconciliation tasks are handled in a timely, efficient, and professional manner. You will also be responsible for moderate database development, monitoring, and querying, and acting as a liaison between the financial data operations group and the database development group.

 What you’ll do:

  • Equity and Fixed income data quality responsibilities and index reconciliation
  • Work with developers and create specifications for new business data
  • Develop database tools/procedures to ensure day-to-day data integrity
  • Understand and resolve general data issues for vendor supplied security level terms and conditions
  • Assist in Database design and write specs on financial instruments
  • Assist with large scale data management development projects

What you have:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science
  • Master’s degree preferred (finance, computer science or equivalent)
  • 3-5 years of experience in engineering development or database engineering
  • Working knowledge of SQL Server architecture and objects required
  • Working knowledge of investments
  • Superior communication and computer skills together with a well-developed ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
  • Ability to work with large amounts of data
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
  • Ability to organize and prioritize work to meet tight deadlines
  • Experience in TSQL and stored procedures preferred
