Assistant Vice President/Vice President Investment Consultant

Wilshire is seeking qualified candidates for an AVP or VP investment consultant role. Wilshire’s institutional solutions practice, established in 1981, is well known and respected for providing OCIO and investment consulting services to large pension funds, endowments, foundations and insurance companies. Wilshire’s institutional clients include some of the world's largest fund sponsors with combined assets totaling $1+ trillion.
What you’ll do:
(65%) Manage or assist in management of client relationships across all investment related matters
- Asset allocation
- Investment research
- Manager selection and monitoring
- Investment policy management
(25%) Support associates in development and understanding of key client initiatives
- Audit work for client delivery
- Provide education and mentoring to assist in professional growth
(10%) Generate or support new business development
- Participate in RFP responses
- Present to prospective clients
- Create new leads where applicable
What you have:
- Must have a minimum 6 years of relevant experience
- Must have a Bachelor’s degree from a top tier school
- Strong written, verbal, and quantitative analysis skills required
- Must be willing and able to travel at least 50% of the time
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
- Preferred qualifications:
- CFA-designation preferred
- MBA preferred
