What It Takes

Open to undergraduate students interested in gaining hands-on practical experience providing a risk analysis for qualification of trade partners. Qualified applicants will assist our prequalification team in reviewing subcontractor prequalification profiles.

• Assignments include daily office attendance in Towson, MD
• Work periods are 10-13 weeks; 40 hours/week (or part time < 40 hrs/week)

Job Description

Reporting Relationship: will report to a department manager, coordinator, or analyst.

Tasks Assigned: You will be learning various aspects of risk analysis for financial, safety and other aspects of prequalification. Your experience will include some or all the following:

• Utilizing prequalification software
• Reviewing subcontractor submissions for completeness & accuracy
• Engaging with trade partners & subcontractors for missing information
• Analyzing income & balance statements for risk evaluation
• Providing feedback to analysts and project teams on risk findings
• Attending weekly progress meetings
• Assisting with maintaining logs as required
• And any other duties that may be assigned

Required Skills:

Technical Capabilities: Qualified candidates should be familiar with the following software: Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Outlook, etc.
