Job Description
The Identity & Access Management Engineer is responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining Wright-Patt Credit Union’s Identity Management and Governance platforms. This position will provide ongoing support of existing IDM/IDG platforms. Emphasis will be placed on coordinating with IT and the Project Management Office to identify opportunities for integration of new systems into current IAM infrastructure and to provide strategic guidance for IAM related functions across the enterprise.
1) Maintenance and support of current IAM infrastructure (60%)
a) Provide technical support, troubleshooting, and monitoring of IAM systems.
b) Ensure execution of requested IAM procedures on schedule and in desired timeframes.
c) Ensures proper policies, procedures, risk mitigation activities, and operating controls are followed. Reports gaps in policies, procedures, and operating controls to leadership to ensure member impact and risk is mitigated.
2) Integration of new applications into current IAM infrastructure (20%)
a) Work with Project Management Office to obtain requirements needed for integration of new systems and applications into IAM systems.
b) Implement desired workflow and notification changes.
c) Provide guidance to IT and business units for SSO integrations with ADFS.
3) Maintain proper documentation of current IAM procedures (20%)
a) Complete accurate documentation of IAM procedures.
b) Provide documentation to support internal and external exam requests.
Required Skills
1) Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Information Security, or related field. A combination of military service and/or job experience in related field with certifications will be considered.
2) Minimum of 5 years of experience in a related field.
3) Demonstrated experience in architecting and implementing Identity and Access Management (IAM) solutions.
4) Understanding/hands-on experience of user authentication and authorization, and application integrations.
5) Proven experience with programming languages (Java and JSON preferred).
6) Ability to communicate with project teams and business units to assess security requirements and assist in integrations.
7) Research, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
