The MeridianLink System Administrator manages the Credit Union’s MeridianLink systems, including the in-branch and online loan and new account application systems and the MeridianLink collections platform. This includes the support and activities related to third-party tools integrated in these systems. The MeridianLink Administrator serves as a subject matter expert architecting solutions driven by new projects, designing seamless user experiences, implementing environment changes, ensuring processes are in compliance with applicable regulations, and ensuring Service Level Agreements (SLAs) are met.
1) Administration of the various MeridianLink application systems the credit union uses by designing seamless user experiences and implementing environment changes. This include but is not limited to project support, software quality assurance and business unit support (60%)
a) Project Support
• Gather, analyze, and document business unit requirements and procedures.
• Translate business requirements into functional, technical, security, and training requirements for internal teams and third-party vendors.
• Participate in documenting processes, as well as document the ‘as is’ and ‘to be’ workflow process, perform time studies and offer recommendations for process changes
• Building and maintaining the end-to-end application flows, disclosures, and document mapping,
• Assist in the creation and maintenance of end-user guides, support material, and documentation of processes and procedures in support of assigned projects.
• Attends project meetings with the Lines of Business impacted by a particular project.
b) Software Quality Assurance
· Assist with Integration, System, Regression, and User Acceptance testing, as applicable, for assigned projects.
· Assist in developing detailed test plans and test scripts for projects associated to the department.
c) Support to Business Units
· Serves as the subject matter expert for the service delivery teams.
· Maintain a thorough knowledge and understanding of all organizational products and services, policies, processes, and procedures.
· Seek opportunities to re-engineer applications, processes and procedures for continuous improvement and efficiency.
· Analyze and resolve defects reported in the Production environment for defects of a low to moderate complexity.
· Administer user right controls for the MeridianLink Systems.
2) Actively manage and report on any new or existing tickets with the MeridianLink Help Desk and organize the deployment and testing of any MeridianLink system releases. (15%)
3) Creates and maintains the reporting functions for all systems for business units to discern the information flowing through the MeridianLink systems. Ensure compliance with all applicable Federal, State and network rules and regulations. Ensures proper policies, procedures, risk mitigation activities, and operating controls are followed. Reports gaps in policies, procedures, and operating controls to leadership to ensure member impact and risk is mitigated. (10%)
4) Maintain interconnectivity between MeridianLink systems and third-party solutions such as merchant processing, debit bureaus, credit bureaus, automotive dealership management, payment processing solutions, and any other solutions that support or interact with eh MeridianLink Systems. (5%)
5) Serves as a resource to our learning and development and knowledge management teams to assigned with training or reference materials. (5%)
6) Performs other duties as required. (5%)
Required Skills
A. Specialized or Technical Knowledge and Skills: The MeridianLink System Administrator must possess the following knowledge and skills:
1) High School diploma or equivalent is required.
2) An Associate’s Degree with a specialization in business or information technology is preferred.
3) A minimum of one year experience in a consumer loan department or credit union retail operation department is preferred.
4) Must demonstrate project management skills, excellent communication skills, attention to detail and customer service skills.
5) Demonstrated ability to learn and apply a variety of software applications such as lending systems, Internet applications, Microsoft Office, and the Credit Union’s core processing systems.
