Our Count Operations Department is looking for part time Team Members that have a high school diploma or GED with 2 years cash handling and customer service experience. Team Member will be responsible to work in a team to accurately and timely pull, collect, count and document revenues received from slot machines, table games, and other revenues generated by the casino. Operates currency counters and an accounting system to document transactions. May conduct minor repair or routine maintenance on computer or count equipment as applicable. While performing the essential function of the job, the Count Operation Team Member is regularly required to use hands to finger, handle or feel and reach with hands and arms. The individual is required to be 21 years of age, ability to stand, kneel, crouch or crawl and frequently lift and/or move up to 25 lbs. over a distance of 5 feet. With assistance the individual must be able to lift and/or move up to 50 lbs. over a distance of 60 feet.
Position requires working a schedule of 6am start time and may include holidays according to business needs. You must be able to work at a fast pace with a high volume of work.
Count Operations job duties include:
- Counting and racking all chips and counting all cash
- Operating the online accounting system
- Ensuring that all chip and cash totals are accurate, recorded and input into computer
- Pulling currency from slot machines and documenting any discrepancies
- Scans, removes and replaces canisters for each slot machine in an assigned area.
- Ensures each canister is properly secured in the drop cart and each machine is secured after the pull is performed.
- Downloads information into the Management System for accountability.
- Pulls and fills all currency from vending machines, document related information and delivers paperwork to Audit and Compliance Department.
- Compares the fill and credit slips for each table game drop to system generated reports.
- Researches and documents any discrepancies and forwards all paperwork to Audit and Compliance Department.
