We are looking for a Room Chef with strong people, process management skills, and experience working with high volume. This position will lead a culinary team of over 15 sous chefs and line cooks. We care about our Team Members and their career development so we are looking for someone who can inspire, motivate and lead by example – someone capable of fostering a team environment while still providing individual opportunity for personal growth and career development to match this time in our history. Other areas of responsibilities include:

Menu Development & Execution

  • Process Control & Improvement
  • Food Quality
  • Par Levels, Cost & Waste Control
  • Health & Safety
  • Scheduling & Labor Hours Management


Required Skills

Here are a few of the responsiblities:

  • Manages and coordinates the operations and activities of the culinary team engaged in preparing and cooking foods in various kitchens; ensures efficient and profitable food service.
  • Monitors team members’ performance and identifies areas of improvements.
  • Ensures the overall quality and consistency of recipes and presentation, includes follow-up and follow through.
  • Ensures compliance with and enforces HACCP (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Points) and hygiene standards, including cleanliness and sanitation of work area; food areas clean and presentable; and temperature.


Required Experience

Required Experience

  • Knowledge of cost control methods, including purchasing, menu planning and menu costing.
  • 5 or more years of related experience and/or training.
  • Prior experience as Chef or Sous Chef.
  • Must be flexible to work different shifts, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
