This position will coordinate maintenance and operations activities on the Paper Machine. Maintain a safe work environment by prioritizing safety work orders, leading safety work notification review meetings, and insuring safety work orders are completed in a timely manner. Maintain an efficient and effective maintenance planning program.
Key Accountabilities:
- Daily and weekly maintenance plans
- Equipment outage schedules/plans
- Leading MWMS T-Minus Process
- Lock-out planning and coordination support when needed
- Emergency repair plans
- Leading shutdown activities and utilizing resources
- Managing inspection/repair matrices for area equipment and insure all inspections/repairs are in compliance with 5-year planner
- Leading shutdown critique meetings and follow-ups
- Supporting best practice precision maintenance initiatives
- Establish and maintain an atmosphere of open communication at all levels
- Participate in analyzing equipment downtime and causes to implement corrective actions
- Participate in operational troubleshooting
- Proven commitment to all mill safety policies and procedures
Required Skills
- High level of interpersonal skills (i.e., honesty, communication, leadership, decision making, conflict resolution, maintaining relationships)
- Ability to communicate with all levels of the organization
- Understanding of planning and scheduling techniques
- Strong organizational skills
- Proficiency with the following systems: MWMS system, SAP (work order, requisition writing and management), RCFA tracking system, When Down Do, Microsoft Excel
Required Experience
- Bachelor s degree in pulp paper science, chemical engineering, mechanical engineering or a related field or equivalent work experience
- 2+ years of related paper, opertional, or manufacturing/industrial experience
