Shoulder and Elbow Specialist seeking an outgoing, organized and detail oriented Scheduler

Monday-Friday, no weekends or major holidays

Responsibilities: 

• Scheduler will answer incoming calls, schedule office visits and diagnostic procedures. 
• Will obtain authorization from work comp and private insurance companies. 
• Will work closely with referral sources to include physicians, adjusters and case managers. 
• This position will also cross train as a medical assistant and provide coverage as needed. 
• Other duties to include but not limited to scanning and faxing.

Requirements:

• One year medical office scheduling is REQUIRED.
• EPIC or other electronic medical records experience and Work Comp experience is preferred. 
• Must be able to learn quickly 
• High School diploma or equivalent required.
