FT Staff Accountant needed for North OKC Office - In-person

Position Summary:

The Full Time Staff Accountant provides accounting support for Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, and end-of-month accounting functions, including account reconciliations. This role is eligible to work remotely from home part-time. 

  1. Essential Functions:

Ø  Ability to understand written and oral instructions and execute them with minimal supervision.

Ø  Exhibits excellent business math skills.

Ø  Excellent knowledge of Excel, MS Word, 10 Key.

Ø  Effectively working and cooperating with supervisors, co-workers, clients and hospital management.

Ø  Following the directions of supervisors.

Ø  Refraining from causing or contributing to disruption in the workplace.

Ø  Regular and reliable attendance.

Ø  Performs other duties as assigned.

  1. Functional Accountabilities Include but not limited to:

Ø  Records routine general ledger accounting entries to properly reflect all company financial activity.

Ø  Codes and posts misc. cash deposits

Ø  Reconciles bank accounts and all general ledger balance sheet accounts and timely follows-up on reconciling items

Ø  Prepares PACS Billing

Ø  Bills intercompany transactions and billings to external parties for amounts due to company

Ø  Assists and backs-up Accounts Payable Specialist and Senior Accountant as needed.

Ø  Assists Controller, Chief Accounting Office and CFO in preparing for annual audit.

Ø  Special accounting projects as assigned

 Accountability:

Ø  Reports to: Controller, HPI

Ø  Supervises: None

 Qualifications:

Ø  Bachelors Degree

Ø  Intermediate knowledge of MS word and Excel

1-3 years Accounting experience preferred
