Full Time Medical Assistant needed for interventional pain management clinic in Oklahoma City

• Monday-Friday, no weekends or major holidays

Responsibilities

• Responsible for rooming and interviewing patients
• Obtaining and documenting vitals and patient history
• Drawing up injections
• Assisting with flow of outpatient procedures, reviewing schedule and calling patients to follow up on their procedures. 
• Assist with ordering procedures and outgoing referrals
• Answering and processing patient calls
• Other duties include scanning and covering for the PA and other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Registered Medical Assistant preferred but not required
• One year clinical experience preferred
• Background in pain management a plus
• Medical terminology experience preferred
• Experience with electronic medical records (Epic) a plus
• Must be a team player who is organized, dependable and shows initiative in helping team members complete tasks so our patients are well taken care of
• High School diploma or equivalent (GED) required.
