The University of Montana invites applications for AmeriCorps VISTA members serving with the Montana Campus Compact. AmeriCorps VISTA members with Montana Campus Compact (MTCC) serve for a year or more in Montana communities, meeting community needs and advancing educational equity across the state. Our members work towards increasing access to college, strengthening communities through service, and meeting the needs of Montana veterans. MTCC AmeriCorps VISTA service opportunities include strengthening college campus partnerships with community nonprofits, assessing community needs to plan for anti-poverty programming, recruiting and managing volunteers, and developing new community programs, among other activities. All MTCC AmeriCorps VISTA members attend cohort trainings several times a year, participate in National Days of Service, and share a common mission of improving community life and educational access in Montana.
