Quality Technician

Performs quality assurance activities in a manufacturing business unit.  Organizes and maintains assignments, any of which may include testing, non-conformance / scrap tag applications, and product failure containment. 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE JOB

TIME (%)             DESCRIPTION 

25%      Completes periodic quality assurance reports and record transactions.

20%      Tag and disposition both non-conforming and scrap parts.

15%      Oversee MRB inventory area and part inventory log.

40%      Perform testing, inspection, and audits. 

KNOWLEDGE AND LEARNING REQUIREMENTS 

•                           Basis computer skills preferred.

•                           Good analytical skills needed.

•                           Verbal and written communication skills needed.

•                           Some automotive manufacturing experience preferred.

•                           Knowledge or exposure to quality processes and procedures preferred.
