ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

·         Inspect and repair welds per standard operating procedure

·         Inspects components and assemblies visually for quality defects including scrap marks, rust, burrs, lamination, missing welds, ect.

·         Measures parts to insure they meet specifications

·         Follows written instructions to determine production requirements and part specifications as displayed on scheduling boards and work standard sheets

·         Secondary sources of information include, but are not limited to, oral instructions from supervisors and/or other employees

·         Performs all duties and operates machinery and equipment according to OSHA standards and company procedures using required safety equipment

·         Records and reports production, quality and inventory information accurately

·         Monitors machine for proper operation and reports any malfunctions or problems to supervisor and maintenance

·         Participates in continuous improvements activities

·         Fills in for operators as necessary

·         Assumes other duties as directed by supervisor

·         Operates Powered Industrial Truck

SKILLS:

·         Valid Hilo License (must be able to obtain)

·         Excellent attendance record

·         Able to communicate well with others

·         Must be self-motivated

·         Must be able to work with minimal supervision
