Responsible for the overall management of the Special Supplemental Nutrition Program for Women, Infants and Children (WIC) serving New London County. Ensure that all components of the Program are carried out in an efficient and effective manner in accordance with agency, state and federal regulations, policies and procedures. Responsibilities include completing all required TVCCA and CT Department of Health monthly, quarterly and annual reports with attention to detail and timelines. Attends all required CT Department of Health and agency meetings/committees. Reviews ongoing clinic needs to revise operations to maximize optimal client service and outcome measures. Develops working relationships with community partners including health care providers, social service organizations and internal TVCCA programs. Travels to the two permanent clinics in Norwich and New London and the satellite in Groton to monitor compliance to State and Federal regulations. Provides leadership and vision to program staff in an often fast paced/dynamic environment.

Required Skills
- Bachelor’s Degree with a major in foods and nutrition, public health, community nutrition, or related field and eight years related work experience, at least three of which were in supervision. Strong nutrition or Registered Dietitian experience preferred.
