JOB SUMMARY:

The Client Services Navigator-Energy will focus on determining eligibility for all applicants of the Connecticut Energy Assistance Program.  This position works directly with a diverse population of individuals and families seeking assistance with their winter heating costs and social service needs. During the winter months, the CSN will authorize deliverable fuel requests to registered vendors taking part in the Connecticut Energy Assistance Program.  The CSN will become skilled in taking energy assistance applications. This position will also provide general case management services and assist customers to access community services including programs offered by the CT Department of Social Services. Excellent computer skills (Microsoft Office Suite, Excel, and the ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing with a diverse client population are a must. This position may require travel to all TVCCA site locations.  


Required Skills

QUALIFICATIONS:

Associates Degree plus one year related experience, or High School Diploma plus 3 years of work experience.
