The Energy Manager oversees the day to day operations of the Connecticut Energy Assistance Program (CEAP). The candidate must develop a thorough understanding of CEAP guidelines, policies and procedures, and assure all applicant files are processed accurately and in a timely manner. Will oversee a staff of 12+, providing training, daily assignments, trouble shooting, and prepares Performance Appraisals. Works with the Assistant Director of Community Services to develop consistent implementation and reporting of services by CS staff, and to assure that the Fuelware software system accurately compiles data. Additional responsibilities include oversight of Eversource’s Matching Payment Programs including Low Budget Worksheets, the New Start Program, Operation Fuel, and other utility payment programs.  Maintains frequent contact with Department of Social Services Staff to facilitate audits, transfer of information, and the development of best practices. Acquire in depth knowledge of TVCCA’s FuelWare software. Work closely with the Information Technology Department providing support to other agencies who utilize the FuelWare software.  Develop an understanding of Results Oriented Management Accountability (ROMA) and Human Services Infrastructure (HSI) service model.

Required Skills

Bachelors Degree plus one year of related experience, or Associates Degree plus three years related experience, two of which were administrative and supervisory in nature.
