This position is responsible for providing overall administrative support to the Employment and Training programs offered at the American Job Center - Montville.  This individual must possess high energy and motivation.  He/She should be a self-starter who can work independently, be well organized, able to multitask and prioritize projects. This individual will be responsible for preparing program information, data entry, reports, correspondence, faxing, filing, assisting with coordinating meetings and appointments, conducting One Stop information sessions and ensuring that all program records are organized; reports are updated and maintained in an organized system.

Required Skills

  • Associates Degree and one year related work experience or a H.S Diploma plus three years of related work experience.
  • Knowledge of One Stop services, partners and programs.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills, verbal and written. Strong Word Processing, Excel, PowerPoint and Internet applications skills required.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license, good driving record and access to daily, reliable and insured transportation. Spanish speaking preferred.
