TITLE:                     Computer Numerical Control (CNC)

DIVISION:              Workforce Development/Trades  

HIRING SALARY:    $28.00 - $46.00 per hour  

HOURS:                   Part-time, Monday – Thursday evenings (6:00 pm – 10:00 pm)

Tallahassee Community College announces openings for the following Instructors with the Advanced Manufacturing Training Center for the Fall 2021-22 semester. Instructors are responsible for providing their support and services of college policies and procedures, and professional development.  

MINIMUM EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE: High School Diploma required.  Vocational certificate in CNC Machining or associated field, or Associate degree in Manufacturing, Industrial, or Mechanical engineering preferred.  Industry Certifications for Level 1 machining from the National Institute for Metalworking Skills (NIMS) highly preferred. Familiarity with computer-aided manufacturing (CAM) software preferred.  Experience may include verifiable on-the-job trainer experience.  Minimum 7 years of recent manufacturing, engineering or appropriate industry work experience. May work at various sites located in Leon, Gadsden and Wakulla Counties. 

 Applicants Must Have: 

1. Access to transportation and the ability to drive for work related issues. (Local travel within Leon, Gadsden, and Wakulla Counties possible.)  Must have current automobile Insurance. 

2. Demonstrated computer skills (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook & internet navigation)  

PREFERENCE: Vocational or Associate degree in Manufacturing, Industrial, Mechanical, Electrical or Electronic engineering preferred.  Industry Certifications from Manufacturing Skills Standards Council (MSSC) Certified Production Technician (CPT) or International Society for Certified Electronics Technician (ISCET) Electronics System Associate (ESA) or similar industry credentials, and technology training experience highly preferred.
