HIRING SALARY: $24,960.00- $27,336.16 annually: all salary calculations to start at the minimum salary
HOURS: 10:00 PM - 6:00 AM Mon - Fri

MAJOR FUNCTION: The Custodial Worker is housed within Custodial Services and reports to the Shift Supervisor. This position maintains the cleanliness of the College by vacuuming, dusting, mopping, and sanitizing classrooms, offices, employee dining, and bathrooms. The Custodial Worker assists in the set up and moving of furniture, replaces supplies, and empties trash. The position maintains and stores equipment and order supplies for his or her assigned area. The person in this position also performs other duties as assigned by the Shift Supervisor.
MINIMUM TRAINING/EXPERIENCE: Requires a high school diploma or its equivalent and two years of custodial experience and demonstration of sufficient communication skills to safely and effectively perform service functions. Preference will be given to individuals with a valid driver’s license.
SUCCESSFUL APPLICANTS WILL DEMONSTRATE THE FOLLOWING: Knowledge of proper methods and procedures for cleaning, correct use of cleaning products and basic sanitation principles, ability to work independently and to organize and schedule work as assigned, ability to follow written and oral instructions, ability to use two-way communications radio, ability to walk, climb, bend, reach, stoop, and lift up to 75 lbs.
