Serving as a member of the College of Law Office of Admissions and Student Financial Planning, the Administrative Support II position will provide the administrative support necessary to facilitate duties and responsibilities within the Office of Admissions and Student Financial Planning. Perform essential duties to support recruitment and event planning.
Essential Job Functions and Responsibilities:
- Process recruitment registration for fall and spring JD recruiting, including registering for events, submitting payments, calendaring, packing, and shipping material. Update recruit event information to Admissions Events web page.

Coordinate and oversee event planning for all major Admissions related special events and programs, including prospective student, and admitted student open houses.

Process and update applicant decisions. Send decision notifications via email. Prepare and mail admissions packets as requested. Manage all reconsideration requests (scholarship increase requests, program changes, defer requests, etc.).

Generate status reports for other offices (Registrar, IT, Student Affairs, etc.). Provide updates leading up to orientation.

Assist with application processing during high peak periods, as determined by the Assistant Dean of Enrollment.

Serve as liaison to LSAC Support Services to help identify, report, and assist in troubleshooting issues that may arise in UNITE.

Maintain inventory of office letterhead, envelopes, copy paper and staff business cards. Order office supplies; maintain supply inventory.

Manage Master Calendar for Office of Admissions and Student Financial Planning.

Provide backup support for check requests, office billing and reconciling statements.

Cross-train with other administrative support to provide back-up as needed.

Answer phones, emails, correspondence. Run mail merges and mass mailings.

Greet and assist visitors and set counseling appointments. Provide campus tours as needed.

Maintain a collaborative work environment and work well with others.

Lifting occasionally up to 20 lbs.

Other duties as assigned.
Required Skills
- A high level of organization, accuracy, attention to detail, flexibility, multi-tasking, good judgement and interpersonal skills are required.
- Excellent follow-through is required.
- Strong customer service skills.
- Ability to work in a team environment as well as independently, and to maintain position and collaborative relationships with others.
- Should possess good written and verbal communication skills.

Work Environment: Work duties performed primarily in temperature-controlled offices, with frequent customer interaction.
Required Experience
- AA/AS degree required. Will consider a combination of education and experience in lieu of degree.
- At least three to five years administrative support experience required.
