Division/Department Information


Department of Clinical Health Professions within the College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences.  The Department has 65 full-time tenured and tenure-track faculty members with clinical specialties in clinical pharmacy, physician assistant studies, radiologic science, clinical laboratory science, physical therapy and the proposed nursing program. The Department offers Doctor of Pharmacy, M.S. in Physician Assistant, B.S. in Radiologic Science, B.S. in Clinical Laboratory Science, and Doctor of Physical Therapy program.




The Department of Clinical Health Professions is seeking applications for 1 (one) twelve-month, tenure track Associate Professor position to teach and lead within the undergraduate Radiologic Science program.


Primary teaching responsibilities include radiographic anatomy and procedures, radiographic pathophysiology, or other radiologic sciences courses; additional teaching responsibilities in areas of clinical or academic expertise required. All department faculty participate in department, college and university service, and scholarly activity. The ideal candidate would have a commitment to excellence in teaching and work well in an interdisciplinary, team-oriented environment.


Program Director responsibilities include assuring effective program operations; overseeing ongoing program accreditation and assessment processes; participating in budget planning; participating in didactic and/or clinical instruction, as appropriate; maintaining current knowledge of the professional discipline and educational methodologies through continuing professional development; assuming the leadership role in the continued development of the program; other duties as assigned by Dean and/or Department Chair.




Candidate must hold an earned graduate degree, academic doctoral degree highly desired. Minimum 5 years previous teaching experience at a JRCERT accredited program required.


Proficient in curriculum design, evaluation, instruction, program administration, and academic advising; documents three years’ clinical experience in the professional discipline; documents two years’ experience as an instructor in a JRCERT accredited program; holds current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification and registration in radiography.
