The Department of Administrative and Instructional Leadership (DAIL) in The School of Education at St. John's University invites applicants to apply for a tenure track position at the rank of Associate Professor with a primary focus on teaching, scholarship, and service in the fields of Educational and Instructional Leadership. Duties associated with this position include: 1) teaching graduate courses across DAIL programs, 2) advising and mentoring doctoral students, 3) engaging in research, scholarly writing, and grant work, and 4) serve on program, department, school, and university committees, when appropriate. Faculty are expected to teach at all NY locations and online. Qualifications Ideal applicants will have earned doctoral degree in Educational Leadership or a related field. They will have evidence of successful leadership at K-12 and/or university levels; university-level teaching experience; and a demonstrated record of scholarship. They should have a research agenda that relates to educational or instructional leadership and school improvement. Expertise in quantitative research methods is preferred. Candidates will have a proven track-record of research with peer-reviewed publications and conference presentations. The successful candidate will be able to teach graduate courses via in-person, online, and hybrid settings and utilize technology as an educational tool.
