Enrollment Clerk
TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT: Full-Time, 52 weeks, 37.5 hours per week depending upon need within the area; some weekend & evening hours may be required.
CLASSIFICATION: ESP, Pay Band P
ANNUAL SALARY: $16.25 per hour

JOB SUMMARY: The Enrollment Clerk works with the Director of Enrollment and Registration and Records Team to provide support and customer service to current and prospective students.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Understand and adhere to confidentiality requirements, FERPA and GLBA provisions.
- Assist with data entry, file maintenance, document processing, and preparation of reports as assigned.
- Assist with creating, updating, and maintaining student files.
- Assist with correspondence and processing of emails received within the Enrollment email accounts as requested.
- Assist with office supply inventory and process orders as needed.
- Assist with student events coordinated by the Department.
- Crosstrain in various areas of the college to effectively provide service.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
SUPERVISION RECEIVED: Supervision received from the Director of Enrollment
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE: Associate degree required. Will consider candidates in process of obtaining an associate’s degree. 1-2 years successful related experience preferred. Database (Ellucian Colleague) experience preferred.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
- Strong interpersonal skills; ability to work effectively with faculty and staff at all levels.
- Organized and detail-oriented with high level of accuracy while meeting deadlines.
- Highly proficient in Microsoft Office applications including Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word.
- Strong work ethic, energetic, self-motivated, sense of urgency and “can-do” attitude.
- Team player, able to get along well with others, advocate and exemplify a cooperative approach to solving problems.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks and prioritize assignments.
